We will go to Gandesa, to the Edetària winery, which is the most respected winery of the DO (Designation of Origin) Terra Alta. This winery produces wines from local varieties of old grapevines in a unique region with a distinct character. Critics consider its wines to be some of the best Mediterranean wines of Catalonia and Spain. Minerality, complexity, balance and elegance are the essence of these wines, the result of a meticulous work, adapting each vine to the special region that it lives in.
Afterwards we will visit the natural reserve of Delta de l'Ebre and we will stop to have lunch in Ametlla de Mar so you can enjoy one of the best paellas you can ever find.
If you are up to it, on our way back to Torredembarra we can visit Tarragona, a city listed by the UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. Tarragona was the most important city in the whole Iberian Peninsula during the Roman Empire period.
